My experience of creating these embroideries is a constant exercise in embracing imperfection. Lines are never quite as you imagine them, and yet, they are more beautiful for the marks you make but don’t quite expect.

We don’t need a gold star to be recognized, to be important, to be seen. We’ve always been here, shining like a star.
