This embroidery in this particular series is the largest and most laborious, with well over 50 hours of stitching time. It may also be one of my favorites. I am drawn in by the contrasting colors and resulting glow.
It’s an anthem to imperfection, to beauty, to honoring the unique qualities and quirks that make us the people we’ve become.
