When I first heard the phrase, “nevertheless, she persisted,” tears welled up in my eyes. It was like being heard and seen for the first time. The ripple of women all hearing those words together felt epic. I felt this energetic shift that I wasn’t alone, that other women felt this way, too.

To stand one’s ground, to stand witness to judgment and still choose the path you feel is true,  is the bravest thing I know.
